CHAPTER HOUSE RENOVATIONS

Theta Xi Makeover
We had 15 alumni join the actives each of the two work weekends (Aug 18-19 and 25-26) and spent nearly $6,000 of your donations in the best organized and attended work week(ends) in recent memory. We painted the entire first floor and basement bar area, removed 25+ windows from the frames to repair and replaced all first floor outlets, numerous broken switches and lights and repaired the lighted exterior sign. We installed siding in the back airlock, repaired and painted the shed and removed 4 dead and dying trees (all wood split and neatly stacked near the refurbished volleyball court, all brush burned). We spent countless hours landscaping. We rented a 50 foot lift both weekends (1 day each) to paint the gables and fix wood siding and gutters. We went through close to 25 gallons of paint and stain, 2.5 gallons of window glaze, over 50 panes of newly cut glass and 6 yards of mulch. Thank you to all that donated and attended.
